Q How do I find
Manuals for specific Ion Chambers?
A In order to locate the correct manual for your Ion Chamber, you will need the Model and Serial Number for the chamber. Once you have those, go to the PRODUCTS page, select Ionization Chambers, and then select ALL Ion Chambers. Scroll down to the Model corresponding to your chamber. The last two characters (always letters such as AC or DF) of the Serial Number indicate which Preamplifier was supplied with your chamber. Click on the appropriate Preamplifier to view the manual. Occasionally, with new models, the manual will not yet be posted. In that case, please give us a call or drop us an e-mail, and we'll be glad to email or fax the manual to you.
Q How can I save a manual for later use? A No problem - just locate the manual, but instead of clicking with the left mouse button, click on the link with the right mouse button. A menu will pop up with several choices. Select the choice "Save target as..." and a File Save menu will give you a chance to download and save the file to the directory of your choice.
Q Why do I need to register my product? A There are several good reasons for registering your AID product. First, it enables us to contact you more quickly if a manufacturing defect is discovered. Since most of our products are distributed or incorporated by other manufacturers, we don't always know who the end user is and have to trace back through other equipment manufacturers to locate the equipment in question. The second reason - the more important one - is that we need feedback from installers and users in order to improve our products and services. Q How do I register the product? A We provide several ways to register. A warranty registration card is enclosed with each product. When properly folded, all it needs is a stamp for mailing. Alternatively, the registration card can be faxed to us at the number on the card. The third way to register (available soon) is right here on our web site. We want to make registering as easy as possible because we appreciate and value your feedback on our equipment.
Q Does failing to register invalidate my warranty? A No, this is a new program and we realize that "stuff" happens. Registration, however, will enhance our ability to contact customers fast and will enhance our understanding and capability to provide continually better products. We strongly encourage you to help us do our job as well as possible.
