ROTOR-AID HD300 SPECIFICATIONS

Standard Configurations:

Single-tube radiographic

Three-tube radiographic and fluoroscopic

Options:

Deletion of the wall-mounting cabinet for installation as an integral part of an x-ray generator.

Standard and Custom drive frequency EPROMs are available.

240/480VAC 50/60HZ Input Transformer (Replaces 190 - 277 VAC 50/60HZ Input Transformer)

Power Requirements:

Nominal 60 Ampere 240 VAC Service required, preferably wired from the same source as the generator power rather than from the generator in order to minimize electrical noise.

Seven input line power taps are provided for input voltages from 190 VAC to 277 VAC.

Internal circuit breaker: Time delay rated 60 Amperes, 240 VAC.

Power Output:

Six separately adjustable voltages are provided for each tube: High speed boost 70-1000 VAC

High speed run 70-150 VAC

High speed brake 50-130 VDC

Low speed boost 50-280 VAC

Low speed run 50-100 VAC

Low speed brake 50-160 VDC

Maximum available power output for high speed boost:

Nominally 5 kW per inverter (2 inverters) into most 3 wire split phase stators rated for intermittent power levels of up to 1000 VAC and up to 15 Amperes per winding.

Maximum available power output for low speed boost:

Nominally 3kW per inverter (2 inverters) into most 3 wire split-phase stators rated for intermittent power levels of up to 250 VAC and up to 15 Amperes per winding.

Drive frequencies for boost and run are determined by an EPROM. Custom EPROMS can be programmed for specific frequencies.

Timer Adjustments:

Individual switches are provided for each x-ray tube to set boost and brake times. Additional switches are provided to set continuance (holdover time) and to set time for an auxiliary function such as a heat exchanger.

Physical Parameters:

Painted steel cabinet with hinged door and key lock. Air intake filter assembly in bottom and exhaust fan in top.

Nominal dimensions:

Inches - 32 high x 21.25 wide x 10.5 deep
Millimeters - 813 high x 540 wide x 265 deep
Weight - 200 lbs. (90 kg)
Shipping Weight - 225 lbs. (102 kg)

Certification:

ETL Listed

Also available for special applications:

Rotor controllers for three-phase x-ray tube stators. Features three separate inverters, rotation supervisory circuit, tube warm-up logic, rotor interlock delay timer, and different drive frequencies for boost and run, for both low and high speed.

Tube development systems for testing x-ray tube parameters. Speed, output voltages and times are all variable and all remotely controlled.
