A Power-AID Line Conditioner and uninterruptable Power Supply is what every mobile mammography van needs to assure a stable power supply. If your mobile mammography unit's exposures are inconsistent, or if the unit faults often, the cause may be the quality of the power. The Power-AID Conditioner provides steady sinusoidal regulated power backed up by powerful batteries. No longer will your system be subject to poor local power or under-powered generators. Power-AID Sources comprise three basic elements:

• Power Converter to convert low-level alternating current from an ordinary wall outlet into direct current to be stored at relatively low voltage.

• Special premium class of rechargeable, no-maintenance, sealed, gelled electrolyte lead-acid batteries.

• Unique arrangement of sine-wave inverters uses the energy stored in the batteries to provide continuous power for the generator control system as well as the 5kVA or 10kVA required intermittently for the x-ray tube.
